Hoping it wasn't a fluke, we tried again today...... and she peed in her potty 4 different times! Now we know she isn't potty trained yet or anything, but she definitely knows what a potty is for and is willing to use it. Each time we sit her down on it, we give her the sign for 'potty' in hopes that she will eventually be able to tell us when she needs to go. Babies are absolutely incredible!
Valentine's Day:
Reese waking up on Valentine's Day
I woke Lee & Reese up that morning with the 1st clue of the treasure hunt I had planned for them. They were sent all over the house finding clue after clue and gifts along the way. Reese got a pair of pajamas and a cookie jar toy. Lee got candy and Rock Band 2 (which he has been wanting for a long time but I kept telling him 'no') Lee gave me my Valentine's Day gift a few weeks ago. I had been needing a new cell phone so he got me a smartphone that has a great calendar feature that I can keep track of everyone's appointments and schedules with.
We went out for a nice lunch later in the day. I was given a long stem carnation by our waiter (in honor of Valentine's Day of course) but Reese quickly destroyed it. There were petals and stem pieces all around our booth. Such love and delicate tendencies our child has. ;-)
Reese had a great 1st Valentine's Day!!!
